Tribute

I was really inspired by the Saul Bass Google logo from today so I tried my hand at something in his style. It is for the film/book Carrie.

Blastoise

I did Blastoise. I wanted it to look childlike and full of excitement. Sharpie, Crayons and India Ink.

Color Studies

So last Saturday I was lucky enough to be able to go to a color lecture by Nathan Fowkes. It was really inspirational so this week I have done a quick 20-30 minute color study. In the next couple of weeks I'm going to switch over to traditional painting them. The artists I copied were James Reynolds, Edgar Payne, and Beirstalt.

A Little Bit of...

Illustrations for a book trailer project that a group of peers did. I did the original storyboards for the trailer as well as acted as the directed and edited the trailer. Most of my time was spent managing the project, working in Adobe After Effects, and problem solving on the project.
