I’m gonna make my Inktober story into a panel-by-panel comic. I'll start posting it hopefully on January 3, 2017. It’s only going to be about 60 panels and will be updated twice a week. Then once I’m done posting it or almost done I will start posting my Victorian mystery comic The Darkness Abridged.

Couldn’t sleep from the heat and my horrific toothache, so I finished up some of my warm-ups from earlier in the week. I may go back and finish two more(I did A LOT) but otherwise I’m on to genies now.

I drew a bunch of harlequins as warmups… Was gonna finish them all but as I was finishing this one a quarter of one wisdom tooth broke off, so I really don’t feel like finishing them…. at the moment I kinda blame the drawings for my current pain as opposed to my sweet tooth, love of fizzy drinks, and my being super old and still having my dumb wisdom teeth….
Anyway, I will probably finish them later when I’m in less pain. They are kind of Dragon Age looking….

Thorn from Battleborn

Got Battleborn this week. Lots of fun. I like the distance fighters like Thorn and the Marquis, but I still have lots of characters to unlock. The game was crazy cheap, I assume because Overwatch came out this week…. I really want to play that too…

Witch-Mage

Doodle while I was thinking about what to do with my life. Looks like I wasn’t paying enough attention to the drawing…. I clearly couldn’t decide if this was a witch or a mage…..

Some of the color tests for The Darkness Abridged. Tell me if any jump out as a good direction for me to continue experimenting….. not sure if I want to go to do flat color or simple cel shading for light.
I was looking at artists like Henri Riviere, Moebius, Hokusai, and 19th century posters. Then a few contemporary artists as well
i’m behind on my schedule for the comic unfortunately… I got depressed earlier last week and thought i was gonna give up on it. Now that I decided to continue my laptop has decided it is going to die… I cant wait to get back to my desktop.

I love Alien… has such wonderful designs. It was on TV the other day and of course I had to stop everything to watch it.
I’ll clean this up next week when I’m back at my cintiq… Drawing with the tablet really hurts me.

Behind on posting, it was a hectic weekend filled with visiting people and the worst allergy attack I’ve had in a very long time….
The seascape isn’t the greatest but it was a journey that took the painting from being an upside-down tree to a beehive to a seascape….
