This was originally an old pencil I always really loved. So I blew it up because it was orignally only 4x6 or maybe less and used my light book to ink it. Though there are places I messed up inking in places I still love this piece. I intend to color this eventually.

ReplyDeleteThe only thing that bugs me about it is that the mermaid's right eye is blocked.
Her face is almost dead center and my eye focuses on the eye I can't see.
I like the vacant stare, but I think it would be more effective if we could se both eyes.
I'd love to take a crack at inking and coloring this image.
Wonderful piece, really like what detail and movement you put into it.
